ABOUT JAYESH PRAKASH

Jayesh started his musical journey at the tender age of six years old. Jayesh found his interests in Indian classical music and started learning how to play Tabla. It was at this age he started devoloping his passion for music. At the age of eleven his musical interests took a drastic turn as he started finding his interests shifting to rock and other contemporary styles. It was then that he realised he wanted to pick up the sticks. In 2016 Jayesh passed with a distinction in the Grade 8 Trinity guildhall exams. In the same year he made it to the final rounds of the Singapore Drum Off and won the best drummer award in the Yamaha Asian Beat competition. Jayesh attended Berklee College of Music graduating in 2020 with a bacholor's degree in music. He majored in Professional Music with concentrates in Performance and contemporary writing as well as a minor in Music Production. At his time in Berklee, Jayesh has done countless number studio sessions and shows for mulitple artists and bands eventually gaining a reputation as a  vesitile drummer whether it be in the studio or on the stage. Jayesh currently resides in the sunny island of Singapore and is an active member of the music scene.
